Limitations of Services
As a mobile mechanic, I can handle most common repairs and maintenance right at your home or workplace. From diagnostics, brakes, tune-ups, and inspections, etc, I’ve got you covered. That said, some jobs are just too big or require specialty OEM specific equipment. Things like full engine or transmission replacements, certain transmission services, major fabrication or welding, or repairs that require a 4 post lift can’t be done on-site. In those cases, I’ll always be upfront with you and help guide you to the best solution. The goal is simple: make car care as convenient as possible, while being honest about what can (and can’t) be done in your driveway.
I'm happy to install parts that you provide, but there are a few things to keep in mind. When you supply your own parts, I can’t guarantee their quality, fit, or longevity, and I am unable to provide a warranty on those parts. If a customer-supplied part fails or has a fitment issue, any additional labor or replacement will be at the customer’s expense.
Certain repairs may require software re-programming or procedures that only OEM dealerships may obtain licensing for and perform. In that case, you would have to see your local dealer. Examples may be replacing certain control modules with scanner interrogation restrictions, anti theft devices, key programming capabilities with certain OEM brands and years, and latest software updates.
